I have grown a lot this year. My final result increased by 398% and the projections in 2010 will reach 2.6 million. But more importantly, on a personal level, I really stepped in to create positive change for others. I played a bigger game this year and guess what my results were proportional to. But the real reason I know I was able to really shake it this year was to learn to redirect my ego and focus on the positive changes I am creating in the world. I realized deeply that my work did not concern me and that I should use my "stories" to inspire others. And as I got even more out of this year, I learned to think and plan with the knowledge that we are definitely "all one". This recognition made me think of setting up a Smart Women Foundation this month during my wife's anniversary dinner. Here are three ways you can redirect your Ego Sayings to create positive change for your customers, friends, and family. And since I realize I'm primarily a "student," I also added "ego wisdom" from some of my great friends and Facebook and Twitter followers. Have fun!

Focus on positive results, not negative people

When we focus on the positive results, the real positive change we can create in the world, our ego is left with nothing but neutrality. And because we act out of awareness beyond our needs and concerns, we can let go of negative people and situations much more easily. There are many ways to focus on positive results and focus on your body and mind to make your ego neutral. I love Matrix movies on so many levels. The journey that the protagonist Neo travels to let go of his ego and focus on results (a positive change that can only be created by him, his destiny, if you will) is a great example of the power of each of us. The Matrix trilogy will also be in full swing when, at the end of Neo, he enters in full force and knows his true purpose. But the journey was full of negativity and imminent danger. In order to deal with negativity and anticipate danger, he finds his focus through meditation and the search for answers. And did I mention that the soundtrack is also very cool!
